Ashley was born and raised in Alaska and joined Ashburn & Mason in 2018. She assists with all areas of the firm’s practice, with a particular interest in business issues and commercial disputes.
Prior to joining Ashburn & Mason, Ashley served as a law clerk for the Honorable Sharon L. Gleason in the U.S. District Court for the District of Alaska. Ashley was published in the Alaska Law Review in June 2017 for her article Economic Loss Doctrine in Alaska and the Design Professional Exception. After obtaining a Bachelors of Business Administration in finance, investment, and banking from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, she worked as the front office manager of the Anchorage Marriott Downtown for four years prior to obtaining her J.D./M.B.A. degree from the University of Missouri. In law school, she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Dispute Resolution and was the head teaching assistant for business law at the University of Missouri’s School of Business. During law school, Ashley also worked as a summer associate at Carmody MacDonald P.C. in St. Louis and served as a law clerk for the Missouri Court of Appeals.
Ashley enjoys any and all Alaskan outdoor activities and is a triathlete.
