Ashley was born and raised in Alaska and joined Ashburn & Mason in 2018. Her practice includes a broad mix of estate planning and general civil litigation work, with a particular focus in trusts and estates litigation. Ashley also assists clients in a wide range of estate planning drafting, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advanced health care directives and assists clients with informal and formal probate matters.
Prior to joining Ashburn & Mason, Ashley served as a law clerk for the Honorable Sharon L. Gleason in the U.S. District Court for the District of Alaska. After obtaining a degree in finance, investment, and banking from the University of Wisconsin, she pursued a J.D./M.B.A. degree from the University of Missouri. In law school, she obtained a certificate in tax law and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Dispute Resolution. She was also the head teaching assistant for business law at the University of Missouri’s School of Business.
Ashley strongly believes in pro bono work and she currently serves as a board member for the Alaska Institute for Justice. Outside of work, Ashley spends her time with her husband and two children and in the Alaskan outdoors.
