Becky joined Ashburn & Mason in 2015. Her practice includes a broad mix of transactional and general civil litigation work, with a particular focus on real estate and commercial transactions. Becky assists clients in a wide range of business matters, including the drafting and negotiation of purchase and sale agreements, commercial entity incorporation and formation, employment contracts, lease agreements, land use restrictions, quiet title actions, commercial evictions, and assistance in commercial closings.

Becky served on the Platting Board for the Municipality of Anchorage and assists a variety of clients on a pro bono basis. Prior to joining the firm, Becky served as a law clerk for the Honorable Jack Smith of the Alaska Superior Court and worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Anchorage office. Beyond her Anchorage misdemeanor and felony docket, Becky had the opportunity to handle juvenile delinquency matters, cases arising in the Pribilof Islands, and assist with alternative forms of criminal justice resolution through participation in Anchorage’s specialty courts designed for individuals with mental health needs or substance addiction.

Becky’s background is in environmental science and policy. In law school, Becky served as a board member of the Environmental Law Society and worked for both government and nonprofit organizations addressing issues related to natural resource use. Most of her spare time is spent biking, skiing, or hiking.
